Application:
The product is a thiourea accelerator, which is generally obtained by the reaction of amine carbon disulfide, the most commonly used varieties are ethylene thiourea (NA-22) and N, N’ -di-n-butylthiourea (DBTU). This kind of accelerator has a low promoting effect and poor scorch resistance, so it is rarely used for diene rubber, but in some special cases, such as the use of thiuran mother sulfide and other sulfur donor vulcanization agent, it has the role of active agent. Thiourea accelerators have a unique effect on the vulcanization of chloroprene rubber, which can produce good properties such as tensile strength, hardness, compression and permanent deformation. Compared with NA-22, diethylthiourea can char and vulcanize faster, but the vulcanization flatness is better. The product disperses easily and does not spray frost. When the amount is large, high temperature and high speed vulcanization can be carried out, especially suitable for continuous vulcanization of pressed products. It is also a butyl adhesive accelerator and a vulcanizing active agent for epDM. It can activate thiazoles and sulfoamides in natural gum and butaniline, and has antioxidant effect on natural gum, neoprene gum, nitrile gum and styrene butadiene gum. Diethylthiourea is also used in the preparation of corrosion inhibitor Rodine31A
