Characteristic

Food grade curcumin is extracted and refined from dried rhizome of turmeric. The product is orange yellow crystalline powder with a melting point of 183°. Insoluble in water and ether, soluble in ethanol and glacial acetic acid, light yellow under acidic conditions, reddish-brown under alkaline conditions.

Application:

Suitable for the beverage industry, without oil slick, staining and precipitation problems, with good stability, light resistance, heat resistance, acid resistance and other characteristics. In addition, it can also be used in pasta products, frozen drinks, jams, confectionery, baked goods and jellies.
